Awareness session on Leprosy, Health & Hygiene and Eye Screening at St. Theresa School, Landhi Korangi
A team from MALC Head Office (Ms. Sonya Chaudary – ACSM Supervisor and Ms. Farhat Afzah – Health Education Assistant) along with MALC Landhi Korangi team (Ms. Rubina Bhatti – Incharge, Ms. Samina – JLT and Mr. Adnan – JLT) visited St. Theresa School on Friday, July 12, 2019. Awareness session on Leprosy, Health & Hygiene was given by MALC Head Office Team to 170 students who were also screened for refractive errors by MALC Landhi Korangi Team. The students were provided with free of charge eye medicines.
The objectives of the session were to create awareness regarding Leprosy, Health, and Hygiene, promote early diagnosis and treatment, and to remove the stigma associated with the ailment.
