Recognition

RUTH PFAU, FOUNDER MEMBER – MALC, was one of those great people in the history of mankind who selflessly devoted 57 years of her life to serving humanity without any interest for fame or personal benefits and without any discrimination of race, religion and geographical boundaries.

She was recognized in Pakistan and abroad as a distinguished human being and was awarded many prizes and medals most prominently: 

The “Order of the Cross” and the “Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit” from the German Government.

“Nishan-e-Quaid-e-Azam”, “Hilal-e-Quaid-e-Azam”, “Sitara-e-Quaid-e-Azam”, “Hilal-e-Pakistan” and “Hilal-e-Imtiaz” from the Pakistan Government.

Honorary Doctorate Degree of Science (D.Sc) from the Aga Khan University. 

“Life-time Achievement” Award from the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

“Ramon Magsaysay” award from the Government of Philippines.

The “German Staufer” medal – the highest award of the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

The “BAMBI” award in the “Silent Hero” category (the most prestigious media award in Europe).
