DISASTER RELIEF

MALC is at the forefront with zest and zeal in the hour of need for the disaster affected communities. We have responded to a number of challenges providing relief and a sense of security.

With tremendous international and local support of our trusted partners and friends, MALC has successfully completed:

• Earthquake Relief Program in Azad Kashmir (AJK) & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
• Flood Relief & Rehabilitation Program in Sindh, KP & Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
• Earthquake Relief Program in Balochistan.
• Famine and Drought Relief in Tharparkar.

Food & temporary shelter were provided for emergency relief to families affected by calamities.
Reconstruction and rehabilitation activities like rebuilding of houses, livestock distribution and livelihood schemes were carried out. Deserving families were also supported through various water supply schemes.

MALC has established a disaster management team consisting of well-trained professionals. Our response plan is based on actual need assessment.
