Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training by Dow University of Health Sciences
The American Heart Association is a Non-Profit Organization in the United States that funds cardiovascular medical research, educate consumers on healthy living and fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke. It has many international centers, and Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) is the only public sector international centre in Pakistan.
March is considered as the HeartSaver month, therefore CPR awareness programs and Basic Life Support workshops are conducted in many institutions.
Mr. Muhammad Irfan (Instructor Professional Development Centre – Dow University of Health Sciences and Training Centre Faculty – American Heart Association) conducted Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training on Monday, March 25, 2019, at MALC Training Institute, Karachi, for 38 participants including Junior Leprosy Trainees, ward, lab, physiotherapy and OT staff.
